DIY-ing is a new thing for me (well, if you are talking about large scale operations and restorations) and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I love the idea of being able to restore old, worn out items and give them some love - not to mwntion save on funds in the process!
DIY-ing has also been a bit of a necessity for me lately, with a bit of a tight budget and needing to find various means of income. For that reason, I DIY a lot more often than I used to, and with great results!
This blog will very likely be home to many more DIYs of mine and also tutorials - be it sculpting, restoring furniture, building dollhouses, or upcycling everyday household items.
For the love of DIY
Yes, I said love. Not only is DIY-ing a bit of a requirement for my life at the moment, it's actually fun! I didn't realise just how much I could do with old, worn out stuff until I started to think about it.
There really is a use for just about anything, and DIY-ing, restoring, and made from new certainly seems the way to go - especially when shop prices are only getting pricier and op shops are in abundance.
So if you're like me, not sure where to start, just go for it anyway - and have fun! DIY is the best way to make the experience your own - and it needn't be stressful or expensive!
